Bryn’s research is focused on mathematical software – both improving software with ideas from advanced mathematics and improving the practice of mathematics with better software tools. Before joining Intel, Bryn spent many years designing and building commercial software for use by actual humans. Now, this understanding of the needs and potential of real-world software informs his research interest in helping computers learn to be better assistants for software developers and mathematicians.
