Baishali is a software engineer specifically Deep Learning engineer at Intel. She did her PhD at University of South Florida in the Computer Science department where she did research on computer vision and machine learning applications in biomedical image analysis. Before joining Intel she worked as a Postdoc in Moffitt Cancer Center and then as a research scientist at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Her earlier work constituted of developing novel machine learning techniques for “Radiomic” based analysis on breast, liver and pancreas cancer. She now works on optimizing deep learning networks for different Intel hardware for various use-cases including face recognition, healthcare and autonomous driving.
