Research Scientist, Parallel Computing Lab
Hongbo is an expert on languages and compilers, focusing on high-productivity high-performance spatial programming these days. He invented the T2S (Temporal to Spatial) language, which extends the Halide language to spatial architectures like FPGAs and CGRAs. He has been busy constructing a compiler system for T2S, and is open to collaboration. His previous research has been with static compilers, dynamic compilers, binary translation, and sparse matrices.
