ML Research Scientist, Brain-Inspired Computing Lab

Javier Turek is a research scientist in the Brain-Inspired Computing Lab, Intel Labs. Javier’s research interests include machine learning and its applications to computer vision, natural language, and neuroscience. His current work focuses on new representation learning methods that can bridge the existing gap between the capabilities of the human brain and the limitations of machine learning models. Javier holds a doctorate, a master’s, and a bachelor’s in computer science from the Israel Institute of Technology, Technion, in Israel.
